Identify, Inform and Inspire leaders to better serve our community by increasing their awareness of the many facets of Rockland County.

Program Objectives:

At the end of the ten-month program, participants will:

• Have gained enhanced knowledge of Rockland County
• Have been inspired, challenged, encouraged and enabled to bring positive change to our community
• Have connected with people and ideas from all walks of life to create a focused energy that can bring Rockland County forward.

According to Dorothy C. Filoramo,the elected chairwomen of the Leadership Rockland Board of Directors, "The Leadership Rockland Program is a valued resource for our community. By "identifying and informing" emerging leaders through an educational experience focused on the infrastructure of this county and presented from the unique perspective of the actual leaders, the program engages and challenges its participants to examine issues and seek solutions."

"Graduates of the program are a cadre of activists who are involved and will serve in all facets of the public and private sector. Knowledge is power, and with this tool, Leadership Rockland is a powerful advocate of community action" added Filoramo.

The monthly sessions are lead by knowledgeable and dedicated coordinators, many of who have graduated from Leadership Rockland, whose expertise in their field makes this the best educational program on the County of Rockland.
